The AutoLouvre is a well proven machine, designed
and manufactured for high speed vertical blind production. The machine
was specifically developed for the the blinds industry and utilises
novel mechanisms to produce fabric louvres used in the manufacture
of vertical window blinds. We have successfully installed a number
of machines at various locations throughout the UK and the machine
continues to attract new users.
The machine automatically takes stock fabric from a reel, cuts the
louvre to length, produces the creases for the top hanger and bottom
weight and punches the top hanger hole in the louvre. The operator
simply enters the length and number of louvres to be produced and
the machine takes care of the rest. It will also produce "stepped
sets" for sloping windows where each individual louvre is a
different length.
The machine is built for production and has proven to be extremely
reliable as a production unit capable of prolonged operation in
a factory environment.
The machine cycle time depends on the louvre
length being produced, but typically a set of 20 louvres of 1.5
metres length can be produced in approximately 1 minute.
The machine has been ergonomically designed to work alongside existing
or additional sewing or sealing processes.
